This is a joint master’s program in IT field, created within the framework of cooperation between Slovakia and Ukraine for Ukrainian students.

About the program:

The project was created in cooperation with the members of the Digital Coalition, the University of Management and Economics of Public Administration in Bratislava and the IT Association of Slovakia, with the Ukrainian National University of Economics Simon Kuznets in Kharkiv.

The result was the signing of a bilateral agreement on a joint master’s program “International Business Analysis” and the training of Ukrainian students from 2018.

In 2019, the program will start on the basis of 5 cities: Kiev, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odessa, Chernivtsi.

 Funding for the implementation of the program is carried out at the expense of companies from Slovakia.

Criteria for participating in the program:

  1. A student of the 4th year of bachelor’s degree in IT specialty.
  2. Knowledge of English – A1-A2.
  3. Passing the programming knowledge test.

Participation in the program is free for students. Provides accommodation and pocket money.

That is why an important criterion for selecting students is motivation.

FAQ

This is a joint study program at the Ukrainian University (first year of the Master’s Degree) and the University of Management and Economics of Public Administration in Bratislava (second year of the Master’s Degree). Participant of the program will receive two universities diplomas. Cooperation with each Ukrainian university is registered through the program at the Ministry of Education of Slovakia.

The legality of the program is ensured by:

  1. The contract between the University of Management and the Economy of Public Administration with the Ukrainian University – a joint program and discipline of training.
  2. The contract between the University of Management and Economics of Public Administration and the IT Association of Slovakia – on the payment of a student’s IT training, the practice, the choice of an IT company.

The contract between the student and the University of Management and Economics of Public Administration and the IT Association of Slovakia – on the payment of an IT student’s tuition, internship, stipend and other payments, residence.

– The cost of studying at the University of Management and Economics of Public Administration in Bratislava.

– Basic monthly scholarship (200 euros per month).

– Accommodation in the hostel (about 80 euros per month).

– Staging (300 euros per year).

– Additionally possible (discussed individually with each student):

• Student working contract (about 400 euros per month)

• Reimbursement of travel expenses to Ukraine and back (two trips during training) • The cost of tuition at a Ukrainian university, if the contractual form of study at the magistracy (up to 300 euros)

– successful introduction to the magistracy in the Ukrainian university-participant of the project (according to university criteria).

– knowledge of the Slovak language before the start of the 2nd year of magistracy at level A1.

– readiness to study the Slovak language and pass the on-line course (study in Slovakia will be held in Slovak) – working for 2 years in the IT company of Slovakia, which was assigned to the student.
